Manteno High School recently completed an exciting upgrade to its main gym, replacing the old scoreboard with a modern Nevco LED video display. This new 14-foot by 24-foot digital system brings advanced audiovisual capabilities to the school, including enhanced fan engagement features and new opportunities for advertising revenue.

The new LED video display comes with an upgraded AV system featuring a range of high-quality equipment designed to elevate the experience for fans and athletes. The installation includes a Novastar VX4S Video Processor for managing the LED display, a desktop computer to run the board monitoring system, a Behringer Xenyx Q802USB 8-channel mixer, an Electro-Voice RE3 UHF handheld microphone system, a Denon DN-300Z rack-mounted media player with Bluetooth, two Sennheiser ew 100 G2 wireless microphone systems, an Electro-Voice RE50 push-to-talk microphone, two Sennheiser ew 100 G4 handheld microphones, two Furman PL-8C power conditioners, and two Electro-Voice EKX-15SP subwoofers paired with EKX-12P powered speakers wrapped in custom vinyl. Together, these components create a robust AV solution that supports everything from in-game commentary to player highlights and event coverage.

According to Nevco, their video displays offer advanced features to boost audience engagement and create advertising opportunities, helping schools generate additional revenue. Manteno High School is leveraging these capabilities to make a significant improvement in its athletic facilities, enhancing not only the spectator experience but also creating a sustainable source of income through targeted advertising.
